Moth on a rainy day
A cascade of dark rain pours from the top of the painting and its shadows pass down over the pink middle ground.  Under the rain shadow three objects stand on a semi circular surface.  At the top of the arch a small glass vase holding a bunch of rose hips catches a cold grey light.  In the foreground a jug and a plate stand side by side, their patterns slightly obscured by the shadows.  Above the jug a small orange moth hovers like a tiny hopeful element in the middle of a grey day. A promise of better to come.
