Take two birds
A collection of colourful objects stands together in the foreground - a Chinese vase, a wooden bird, a crab claw.  In the distance, under a dark blue sky, a little Alfred Wallis steamer ploughs its way through a cold grey sea.   In the top left hand corner an imaginary collaged star shines down on a ghostly tulip.  Not everything here is present in reality, some things are memories but all are real in their own way.
