The joy of night crabbing
Everything is in motion here -  boat, birds, plane, sea, waves.  The air is raucous with sound, full of life. Everything is single-mindedly chasing its various purposes with such energy and noise, wheeling through the painting like a circus.  The darkness of night provides a backdrop on which I have hung elements that have simply arisen from my imagination.  I love these blue hours of twilight when the spirit is suddenly free of the obligations and conventions of daylight and interior worlds are revealed.
