Turtle doves appraising the captains of industry
By morning, last night’s stormy winds and rain had disappeared, leaving behind a calm and sunny day. Two turtle doves, blown off-course sit listlessly together. They stare at the iron pylons, assessing their usefulness, appraising their natures. Perhaps even here, inauspicious as it seems, there may be a chance to make a home. So many of us have been blown off-course in our lives, so many displaced, so many altered journeys. I hope that we all find what we are looking for.
